Linda S. Patterson

WOODRUFF- Linda Sloan Patterson, 79, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Regional Hospice Home.

She was born February 10, 1942 in Spartanburg County to the late Henry and Mattie Hendrix Sloan and was the widow of Charles Jackson Patterson. She was a former employee with Bi-Lo and was a member of the Woodruff Church of God.

Surviving are three sons, Roger Patterson of Woodruff, Chris (Vickie) Patterson of Woodruff and John Patterson of Woodruff; one brother, Steve Sloan of Woodruff; three grandchildren, Chase Patterson, Cassie Patterson and her Heavenly Angel, Victoria Patterson. She was predeceased by a brother, Palmer Sloan.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God by Rev. Jonathan Knight, Rev. James Shealy and Mr. Danny Knight. Interment will follow at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Church of God Building Fund, P.O. Box 275, Woodruff, S.C. 29388 or Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

The family is at the home of Chris and Vickie Patterson, 215 Autumn Street, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
