Lonna Sue Hughey

  Lonna Sue Hughey, 59, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 7, 2024, at her home in Startex.
  She was born June 19, 1964, in Kosciusko, Indiana to Nancy Iris Ballenger Elliott and the late Darrell Elliott. Lonna moved to South Carolina and graduated from Chapman High School.  She then met the father of her children, Dave Hughey Jr.   She was a hard worker and worked for Hardee’s, GE, and BMW.
  Surviving is one daughter, Angela Christine Teague (Tyler) of Boiling Springs; two sons, Justin Brooks Hughey (Traci) of Lockhart and Cody Jay Hughey (Courtney) of Lyman; one brother, Roger Elliott of Woodruff; She leaves behind 13 grandchildren and had one heavenly grandchild, Charlie.  She loved all her grandchildren dearly, Natalie Mae, Leroy, Loretta, Allie, Harlee, Shane, Breanna, Emily, Austin, Nathan, Chloe, Jamie, and Evelyn.  Lonna also leaves behind her devoted and beloved support dog, Rosie.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Charlie and a brother, Terry.
  Lonna was a believer in Jesus Christ and is no longer suffering in the arms of her Lord.  She attended New Spring Church of Spartanburg.  She will be missed by all her family and friends.
  Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel with a Eulogy by her son-in-law, Mr. Tyler Teague.
  Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
  The family is at 141 Suffold Road, Boiling Springs.
