Louise F. Rush

WOODRUFF- Louise Ferguson Rush, 96, of 821 Kelly Road went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  She was born November 22, 1927, in Greenville County to the late Luther and Hester Cantrell Ferguson and was the widow of Dr. Wilbur Jesse Rush. 

  Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Lanford (Kim) of Woodruff and Carol McCoy (Bill) of Columbia; 3 grandchildren, Kirby Brown (Jon), Zane Lanford (Rebecca) and Matthew McCoy (Kristy) and 8 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Joey Estes.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at the residence.
