Lucille W. Lanford
WOODRUFF- Lucille West Lanford,82, of 34 Fowler Drive went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center in Laurens.
She was born November 30, 1942, in Spartanburg County to the late Herbert West and Mattie Lou McGraw West Tate and was the widow of Homer Benjamin “Ben” Lanford. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving is one daughter, Debbie Green (Tony) of Gray Court; one son, Ray Lanford (Tobie) of Madison, Georgia; one sister, Margaret Boulware of Woodruff; 4 grandchildren, Misti Hill (Jake), Joshua Lanford (Kimberly), Brandon Green (Irene), and Courtney Marler (Russ); 11 great-grandchildren, Brianna Lanford, Ben Lanford, Bryson Elwer, Jarrett Hill, Nicole Hill, Isabella Green, Elizabeth Green, Caroline Green, Hayden Green, Talon Marler and Sydni Marler. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Jackson and two brothers, James West and Charles West.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Fred Quidley. Interment will follow at Stribling Memorial Park, Highway 146, Woodruff.
Serving as pallbearers, Ricky West, Bryson Elwer, Ben Lanford, Russ Marler, Brandon Green and Owen Osteen.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
