WOODRUFF- Madeline Postell Garner passed on May 9, 2021. She was born August 12, 1928 in Robbinsville, NC to Abe L. Postell and Julie Jordan Postell.

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Clarke Garner; parents; brothers, Ray and Bright Postell; sister, Bonnie Jean Postell; and son, Edward A. Rogers. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Reidville Chapter No. 46 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son, Ira (Susan) Rogers of Melrose, FL; grandsons, Hayden (Donna) Rogers of Brasstown, NC and Christopher Rogers of Kings Mountain, NC; and granddaughters, Torin Rogers, Lochlan Rogers, Chantz Smith, and Abreeanna Rogers; step-daughter, Joann Garner (Kenny) Ercole of Little River, SC; sisters Marie Moore of Catlett, VA and Dawn Hamilton of Robbinsville, NC; and brother Huel Pastell of Robbinsville, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Union, S.C. by Mr. Mike Lawrence.
