Margaret M. Godfrey
WOODRUFF- Nettie Margaret Moore Godfrey, 84, of 1600 Shaw Road went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 27, 2023.
She was born September 6, 1938, to the late James Calhoun Moore and Pearlie Mae Thompson Moore and was the widow of Dupree Smith Godfrey. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was a retired employee with B.J. Workman Memorial Hospital formerly in Woodruff.
Surviving is one daughter, Sara West of Enoree; one son, Johnny Godfrey of Woodruff; one sister, Janie Godfrey of Woodruff; 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Sisk and Rev. Andy Parker. Interment will follow at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
Serving as pallbearers, Dustin Crowe, Anthony Barnett, Brandon Barnett, Wesley Barnett, Jason White and Christopher West.
The family is at the home of Sara West, 270 Buncombe Road, Enoree
