Margaret G. Harrill

WOODRUFF- Margaret Godfrey Harrill, 79, of 1611 West Georgia Road went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

  A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Tom and O’Neal Skinner Godfrey and was the widow of Ronald Hope “Ronnie” Harrill who passed away June 24, 1988.  She was a member of West End Baptist Church where she was former Sunday School Teacher and was retired as office manager with the James –Wilmot Clinic.

  Surviving are two daughters, Pam (David) Rogers of Woodruff and Gerrye (Joey) Stroud of Woodruff; one son, Jeff Harrill of Woodruff; one sister, Jeanette Simpkins of Woodruff; three brothers, Bobby (Loretta) Godfrey of Woodruff, Ronnie Godfrey of Cross Anchor and Thomas (Susan) Godfrey of Landrum; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Kathy Smith and JoAnn Edwards.   She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Rita Harrill; two brothers, Bill Godfrey and Jack Godfrey and a step-brother, Doug Allen.

  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Scott Brewington.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to West End Baptist Church, P.O. Box 205, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.

  The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and David Rogers, 300 Allen Bridge Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
