Margaret S. Knight
WOODRUFF- Margaret Stone Knight, 97, widow of Tony Duane Knight went home to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, May 15, 2022, at Regional Hospice Home.
She was born February 1, 1925, in Spartanburg County to the late William Madison and Nancy Elizabeth Crocker Stone. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and was a retired textile employee with Inman Mills.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Jennings of Woodruff and Betty (David) Conner of Inman; one son, Billy (Ann) Knight of Woodruff; grandchildren, Lisa (Stacy) Smith, Tonya (Jackie) West, Lynn (Scott) Lancaster, Tammi (Rodney) Satterfield and Todd (Michelle) Knight; great-grandchildren; Jake (Hope) Smith, Justin (Hallie) Smith, Deuce West, Austin Lindsey, Harrison Lindsey, Paige (Josh) Hyman, Brooke Satterfield, Nate Knight, Hunter Lancaster, Hayden Lancaster, Anna Sprouse, Lily Sprouse and Haley Sprouse; great-great grandchildren; Blakely Smith, Carter Banks Hyman and Parker June Hyman. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Tommy Jennings, six sisters, Lula Moore, Laura Stone, Ellen Rochester, Irene West, Carrie Hughes, and Louise Davis, and one brother, Lester Stone.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Fred Quidley. Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons, Jake Smith, Justin Smith, Deuce West, Austin Lindsey, Harrison Lindsey, and Nate Knight.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m.to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
The family is at the home of a daughter on 445 East Georgia Street, Woodruff, SC
