Marie H. Reade

Marie Hanna Reade,70, of 204 Lower Deal Street passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Regional Hospice Home.

She was born September 30, 1955, in Aiken, S.C. to the late William Raymond Hanna and Thelma Cooper Hanna and was the widow of Charles Wayne Reade. She was a member of Cherokee Falls Baptist Church and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.

Surviving are two sisters, Diane Hanna of Biloxi, Mississippi and Phyllis Hall of Blacksburg; one brother, John Ray Hanna of Perry, S.C.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, 12795 Hwy. 221, Woodruff, officiated by Rev. Tim Knotts.
