Mark Edward McAlister, 60, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his home.

Born August 10, 1962, in Spartanburg County, he was a son of Linda Sisk McAlister of Woodruff and the late Edward Calhoun “Eddie” McAlister and was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his daughter, Ashley Oglesby of Woodruff; sons, Anthony McAlister (Kerri) of Roebuck, Blake McAlister of the home; sister, Gina Roberson of Liberty; brother, Mike McAlister (Tonna) of Parkville, Missouri and grandchildren, Dillan, A.J., Molly and Aubrey.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel with Rev. Ray Mims and Mr. Anthony McAlister officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Family members will be at the home.
