WOODRUFF- Martha Melissa Jennings,92, of 1114 East Georgia Road passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Woodruff Manor.

  She was born April 16, 1932, in Spartanburg County to the late Tom Jennings and Dovie Brady Jennings.  She was a homemaker.

  Surviving is one daughter, Kay Childers of Woodruff; one sister, Mattie Cooper of Woodruff; several grandchildren.  She was predeceased by four sons, Tommy Jennings, Jim Green, Dale Green and Frankie Green; three sisters, Lucille West, Kathleen Phillips and Marie Tanner; five brothers, Mack Jennings, Paul Jennings, Lester Jennings, Jay Jennings, Mose Jennings and Boyd Jennings.

  Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Stribling Memorial Park, 1225 Cross Anchor Road, Woodruff.

  Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.

  The family is at their respective homes.
