Martha Jean Nix

  Martha Jean Nix, 77, of 324 Lando Pines Circle, Moncks Corner went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, at her residence.

  She was born December 21, 1946, in Chesnee to the late William Presnell and Lorine Ridings Presnell and was the widow of Willie Nix.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Woodruff Church of God and was a member of the Berkeley Senior Center.

  Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Vinson (Scotty) and Susan Marie Morton (Vern); two sons, Randy Howard Nix (Cheryl), Michael James Nix (Mary); one sister, Ann Presnell; grandchildren, Brandon, Jessie, Adam, Jennifer, Karie and Daniel; several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Allen Bernard Nix; three brothers, Jimmy Presnell, Ray Whitaker and Donald Presnell; one sister, Minnie Lou Presnell.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Steve Christopher.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
