WOODRUFF- Mary Leatherwood Green, 69, of 760 Gray Street went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 25, 1950 to the late Everette James and Mable Godfrey Leatherwood and was the widow of Theodore Green. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a former textile employee.

Surviving are four sisters, JoAnn O’Shields (Douglas) of Woodruff, Donna Cook (Phillip) of Gray Court, Shirley Leatherwood of Woodruff and Tammy West (Tracy) of Woodruff; four brothers, James Leatherwood of Woodruff, Robert Leatherwood (Jackie) of Woodruff, Wayne Leatherwood of Woodruff and Michael Leatherwood (Theresa) of Greenville. She was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Josephine Leatherwood.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church by Rev. Michael Cook and Rev. Phil Cook. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Green will lie in state Thursday, May 14, 2020 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for family and friends to pay their respects.
