Mary Louise Weathers
WOODRUFF- Mary Louise Arnold Weathers,86, of 500 Allen Bridge Road went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at her home.
She was born August 10, 1939, in Woodruff to the late Grover Arnold and May Belle Brown Arnold. She was a member of Knighton Chapel Wesleyan Church and was currently attending the Woodruff Church of God, Switzer Campus. She was a retired production operator with a carpet mill.
Surviving are three sons; Phillip Weathers (Cindy) of Woodruff, Roger Weathers (Mary) of Dalton, Georgia and Johnny Weathers (Margaret) of Dalton, Georgia; two daughters, Heather Hasty of Dalton, Georgia and Sheila Bryant of Dalton, Georgia; one sister, Margie Arnold Richards of Woodruff; one brother, William “Buddy” Arnold (Kay) of Woodruff. She is also survived by her former husband, Johnny B. Weathers of Ellijay, Georgia; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Steve Love, Mr. Phillip Weathers, Mr. Roger Weathers, and Mr. Johnny Weathers. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery with a committal by Rev. Leslie Arnold.
Serving as pallbearers, Phillip Weathers, Roger Weathers, Johnny Weathers, Scott Weathers, Brian Weathers and Chris Weathers.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Church of God, Switzer Campus, P.O. Box 275, Woodruff, S.C.
The family is at their respective homes.
