Mazie Ann Phillips Hicks

Mazie Ann Phillips Hicks,76, 804 Fairfield Court, Spartanburg formerly of Woodruff passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her home.

  She was born November 8, 1948, in Greenville County to the late Bill Phillips and Alice Malinda Capps Phillips and was the widow of Ruben Hicks.  She was a 1967 graduate of Parker High School in Greenville and was a retired employee with MEMC.

  Surviving is one daughter, Tina Finch Rice (Mike) of Gaffney; one son, Jonathan Cruz Phillips (Cindy) of Spartanburg; one sister, Linda Gale Choate of Plano, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  She was predeceased by a brother, Bob Clardy Sr. and a sister, Mary Alice Clardy.

  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
