Melissa H. Cooper
WOODRUFF- Melissa Hollar Cooper, 50, of 1308 Edwards Road went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida.
She was born October 5, 1970 to Mandina Woodruff Hollar of Woodruff and the late Jerry Floyd Hollar. She was a member of Selma Baptist Church and was a 1989 Graduate of Woodruff High School. She loved her family, her church, the Gamecocks and Nascar.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Wayne Cooper Sr. of the home; two sons, Bobby Wayne Cooper Jr. (Karla) of Woodruff and Justin Lee Cooper of Woodruff; two sisters, Brenda Hollar Edwards of Spartanburg and Anne Hollar Campbell (Bill) of Lexington; one granddaughter, the love of her life, Kenzi Grace Cooper; a nephew, as he called her Auntie M, Casey Campbell of Lexington; niece, Lexie Edwards; nephew, Gauge Edwards; great-nephew, Lukas Edwards; special aunt, Shirley Hollar Satterfield of Woodruff. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Baptist Church, 850 Lawson Road, Woodruff by Reverend Nathan Dye and Reverend Fred Quidley. Interment will follow the service at Selma Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. until in the Selma Baptist Church Family Life Center.
