CROSS ANCHOR- Molly Jean Irby, 68, of 8345 Cross Anchor Road, died June 16, 2023, at her home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Charles (Dick) and Mary Garner Irby.  She was a member of Cross Anchor Yarborough United Methodist Church and was co-owner of Irby’s Exxon formerly in Cross Anchor.

  Surviving is her sister, Susanne Irby McCarley of Cross Anchor, niece, Amy McCarley West and nephew, Thomas Charles McCarley (Melissa).  She is also survived by her great niece and nephews, Cooper West, Jackson, Wyatt, Sydney, and Lucas McCarley.

  A special thank you to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for taking such good care of our Molly.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Cross Anchor by Rev. Bobby Blanton and Rev. Brian Williams.  Interment will follow at Cross Anchor Yarborough United Methodist Church Cemetery.

  Serving as pallbearers, Thomas McCarley, Cooper West, Jackson McCarley, Wyatt McCarley, Lucas McCarley and Jake Black.

  Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cross Anchor Yarborough United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 4, Cross Anchor, S.C. 29331.

  The family is at 8345 Cross Anchor Road, Enoree.
