WOODRUFF- Myrtle Henderson Knighton,95, of 221 Stone Avenue went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Brushy Creek Post Acute Care.

  She was born April 6, 1930, in Spartanburg County to the late Oscar Henderson and Ada Janelle Fleming Henderson and was the widow of Ronnie Knighton.   She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and was retired from One Price Dispatch Center.

  Surviving is one daughter, Becky Wood of the home; two sons, Johnny Ray Waddell (Paula) of Woodruff and “Sonny” Waddell (Sherry) of Woodruff; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by one son, Tony Waddell, a daughter, Linda Waddell and a sister, Mary Lee Mason.

  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Bellview Baptist Church by Rev. Carey Caldwell.  Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bellview Baptist Church, 901 Bellview Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388
