Nelson L. Wilkinson
MOORE- Nelson Lamar Wilkinson, 87, of 278 Kenwood Court went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 28, 2023, at Woodruff Manor.
He was born April 28, 1936, in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Samuel Lee Wilkinson and Bessie Annis Wilkinson and was the widower of Catherine Ramseur Wilkinson. He was a member of Chappells Baptist Church, was a retired truck driver and served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Center of Moore and Leigh Anne Williamson of Taylors; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Woodruff Manor, 1114 East Georgia Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
