Nora M. Morgan

  Nora Messer Morgan, 84, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 7, 2024, at White Oak at North Grove.

  She was born January 6, 1940, in Union County to the late James Albert and Virginia Lawson Messer and was the widow of Carl Morgan.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Enoree and was a retired employee with Laurens Glass.

  Surviving are two daughters, Linda Satterfield (Phil) of Roebuck and Debra Hughes of Wisconsin; one son, Donnie Billings (Tammy) of Enoree; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son Danny Billings, a sister, Joan Jackson and a brother, Wayne Messer.

  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Andy Moore.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Enoree, P.O. Box 216, Enoree, S.C. 29335.

  The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff and caregivers at White Oak at North Grove for their love and care.

  The family is at their respective homes.
