Oren Sherbert Jr.

ENOREE- Oren Sherbert Jr.,76, of 8065 Highway 56 passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his home.

  He was born June 27, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Oren Sherbert Sr. and Lois Lawson Sherbert.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  He was a retired employee with W.R. Grace and formerly worked with Theo Bros.

  Surviving is his wife, Shirley McAbee Sherbert of the home; one daughter, Wendy Spoon (Bill) of Laurens; one son, Kenny Sherbert of Enoree; three sisters, Diane Gowan (Jimmy) of West Springs, Jackie Henderson of West Springs and Judy Sherbert of Cross Anchor; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Johnny Sherbert.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 3200 Highway 92, Enoree, S.C. 29335
