GRAY COURT- Paul Alvin Nichols, 75, of 268 Colby Drive went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his home.

  He was born August 30, 1948, in McDowell, West Virginia to the late Dana Harman Nichols and Ruby Puckett Nichols.  He was a retired employee with Carolina Sprinklers and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam.  He was an active member of the Woodruff Church of God.

  Surviving is his wife, Isabelle “Izzie” Dame Nichols of the home; three daughters, Cindy Marler of Spartanburg, Melissa Perez of Saluda, North Carolina, and Grace Thomas of Laurens; one sister, Lovas Beavers; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and one soon to arrive.

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God by Rev. Jonathan Knight.

  Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  A committal service will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, S.C. at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Jonathan Knight.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Paul Nichols may be made to the Church of God Home for Children, P.O. Box 309, Mauldin, S.C. 29662.
