Randy Lyons Obituary

Randy M. Lyons

CROSS KEYS- Randy M. Lyons, 53, of 4105 Cross Keys Highway went home to be with our Lord, Monday, January 1, 2024, New Year’s evening at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.

He leaves behind his father and mother, Thomas and Kathy Wheeler Lyons of Cross Keys; two sons, Joshua and his wife of Enfield, Connecticut and Kevin Lyons of Windsor Locks, Connecticut; one daughter, Cynthia Lyons of Denver, Colorado; brother, Ricky Lyons and his wife, Elizabeth of Decatur, Alabama; three sisters he loved dearly, Connie (Lyons) Mullen and her husband, Patrick Mullen of Lake Lure, North Carolina, Stephanie Lyons of Charleston and Sonja Lyons of Union.  He also leaves behind a beloved granddaughter, Lily Lyons.

Randy was born on December 24, 1970, in Tampa, Florida and later moved to Connecticut where he grew up graduating high school and then taking computer training in East Hartford, Connecticut.  Randy found his real desire was to go west, so he packed up and went out to Colorado, settling in Denver.  He started his own business in the Towing Industry, becoming one of the largest companies in Denver after only two years.  He was known for helping those he employed or met throughout his life, later he started a limousine company and finally he had to retire at the age of 52 due to cancer.  Randy decided to move to be with his family in South Carolina in November.  After much help by Doctor’s and hospitals he lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with our Lord and Savior.

We are so proud of Randy, he will truly be missed and always loved.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Carrol Caldwell officiating.
