WOODRUFF- Thomas Randall “Randy” Shaver, 83, of 1036 West Georgia Road went home to be with the Lord, Monday, June 24, 2024, at his home.

  He was born August 12, 1940, in Greenville County to the late Henry Carlos Shaver and Mary Nabors Shaver.  He was the widower of Kaye Coleman Shaver who passed away October 13, 2023.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff and was a retired employee with Kemet in Simpsonville.

  Surviving is one daughter, Marianna Weathers (Scott) of Woodruff; one son, Chad Shaver (Mandy) of Moore; three sisters, Elaine, Karla and Karen; two brothers, Freddy and Ross; three grandchildren, Austin Weathers (Kaitlyn), Caleb Weathers (Katelyn) and Ivey Shaver; one great-granddaughter, Harper Scott Weathers.  He was predeceased by a sister, Carol.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Steve Ramey.  Interment will follow at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites rendered by Bethel Masonic Lodge #112 AFM.

  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 352, Woodruff, S.C. 29388 or Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.
