WOODRUFF- Ricky Lyn Fortenberry, age 65, of 606 West Georgia Street passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Woodruff Manor.

He was born in Woodruff on May 22, 1957, to the late Howard and Doris South Fortenberry.

He was a member of Moore Church of Christ and always enjoyed collecting contributions for “Camp Hope”. Ricky was a sport’s fan of all types supporting the Woodruff Wolverines by attending any game anywhere any type of sport was being played.

Ricky is survived by a sister, Brenda F. Thomas of Woodruff; three brothers, Roger Fortenberry (Beth) of Union, Michael Fortenberry (Lee) of North Carolina and Thomas Fortenberry (Vicki) of Newport, Oregon. He also leaves behind many special friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jaycee Camp Hope, Clemson Outdoor Lab, 415 Charlie White Trail, Pendleton, S.C. 29670.

At the family’s request no services will be held.
