WOODRUFF- Ricky Edward Lanford Sr., 65, of 412 Bimin Road passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  He was born December 11, 1959, in Spartanburg County to Tiny Adair Messer of Woodruff and the late Pete Lanford.  He was an automobile mechanic.

  Surviving are two sons, Ricky Edward Lanford Jr. (Emily) of Enoree and Levi Harman (Courtney) of Gray Court; two sisters, Debbie Tucker of Woodruff and Donna Smith of Woodruff; one brother, Michael Lanford of Woodruff; 5 grandchildren, Peyton Lanford, Will Harman, Harrison Harman, Evie Kay Lanford and Jameson Harman.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Sandy Woody and Diane Steadman; a brother, Kenneth Lanford.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  Serving as pallbearers, Ricky Lanford Jr., Levi Harman, RJ Bowling, Chris Stacey, Jeremy Estes and Travis Leake.

  Honorary Pallbearers, Peyton Lanford and William Harman.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 650 West Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605

  The family is at their respective homes.
