WOODRUFF- Richard Allen “Ricky” Thompson, 77, of 9 Calumet Drive passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, at White Oak at North Grove.

He was born March 5, 1945, to the late Luther and Lala Fowler Thompson and was the widower of Nell Sisk Thompson. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a retired employee with Sealed Air. He also served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

Surviving is one daughter, Lesa (Joel) Perkins of Woodruff; one son, Brian Thompson of Woodruff; one sister, Tommy Biggins of Clayton, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Ryan (Taylor) Perkins, Kaitlyn Perkins and Zachary Thompson; 3 great-grandchildren, Easton Brown, Palmer Perkins and Josie Perkins.

A private family graveside will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Ministries, P.O. Box 483, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
