Robert Joseph “Bob” Dean, 84, husband of Jean Moates Dean passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 at his home. 

Born June 8, 1938 in Woodruff, he was the son of the late William Dean and Janie Dean. He was retired from Cryovac and a U.S. National Guard veteran. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Lisa Keifer and husband Daran of Euclid Ohio, Starla Fowler and husband Rob of Greer; sons, Michael Dean and wife Sheryl of Travelers Rest, Chris Hutto and wife Andrea of Summerville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Dean, Lilliam Keifer, Julia Kiefer, Josh Hutto, Sydney Hutto, Ethan Hutto and Will Burroughs. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Betty Knighton Dean.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday June 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. 

No other formal services will be held at this time. 

The family is at the home.
