Robert Earl Morrow

Robert “Earl” Morrow passed away on the 19th of May 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center surrounded by family. Earl was born on the 15th of July 1938, the son of James Otis and Inez Wofford Morrow. He was married to his loving wife, Dianne Parrish Morrow for over 61 years. Earl was the patriarch of a large family, that included 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Earl served in the United States Air Force and worked as a quality control engineer for the 3M Corporation. He was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church in Enoree, SC. Earl was an avid hunter, farmer and loved being outdoors but his passion was being “Papa”. Everyone that knew Earl knew that his family was the most important thing in his life, and he loved them dearly.

In addition to Dianne, he is survived by his sons, Rocky (Renee) Morrow, Colonel (USA Ret) Todd (Carolina) Morrow, and Ted (Nancy) Morrow and his daughter Tracy (Perry) McAbee. His grandchildren include Jacob (Melissa) Morrow, Melissa (Thomas) McCarley, Rebecca (Bradley) Miller, Jessica Mackall (Brandon), Ricky Mackall, Lindsay (Cody) Halloran and Laura Morrow. His great grandchildren include, Nathan Morrow (Abigail), Gracie Morrow (Matt), Jackson, Wyatt, Sydney and Lucas McCarley, Hamilton and Harrison Miller, Sawyer Mackall and Esme Morrow. Earl is also survived by his sister Janice Godfrey, brother Ray Morrow, sister-in-law Bennie Nell Owen and brother-in-law Dickie Parrish.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 pm., Sunday the 21st of May at 3371 Old Hills Bridge Road, Enoree, SC. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m., the 22nd of May at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens 12795 Hwy 221, Woodruff, SC.
