Ronald Wilson Leonhardt

Greenwood – Ronald Wilson Leonhardt, 79, of 708 Rock House Road, husband of Jayne Leonhardt of 1 year went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was preceded in death by Phyllis Leonhardt, his wife of 58 years.

  He was born October 18, 1943, to the late Wilson and Alice Leonhardt. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ronald retired from Duke Power Company after 35 years of service and had a second retirement from Erskine University.
 

  He is survived by two sons, Craig Leonhardt and his wife Sharon of North Myrtle Beach, Cord Leonhardt and his wife Kayle of Bentonville, Arkansas; one daughter, Statia Bennett of Union; He was blessed with 7 grandchildren.

  Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2:15 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery in Woodruff by Rev. Danny Garrett.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

  The family is at the residence, 708 Rock House Road, Greenwood.
