Rudolph “Red” Aiken, Sr.
WOODRUFF- Rudolph “Red” Valentino Aiken, Sr., age 92, of 1517 Greenpond Road and formerly of 414 Lawson Road went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
He was born on June 18, 1929, in Greenville County to the late Hubert and Addie Stancil Aiken, and
was the widower of Margie Mote Aiken.
He was a member of the Woodruff Church of God and a retired employee with Inman Mills, Riverdale Plant.
Surviving is a son, Rudolph “Rudy” {Darlene} Aiken Jr. of Easley; two daughters, Dianne {Bud} Roddy of Woodruff and Stephanie Loftis {Brent} Theo of Woodruff; one grandson, Donnie Roddy and four great-grandchildren, Baylee Theo, Carson Roddy, Bristol Theo and Brianne Theo. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Aiken Loftis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Woodruff Church of God, officiated by Rev. James Shealy, Rev. Fred Quidley, Rev. Curtis Terry.
Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Garden, officiated by Dr. Melvin Aiken.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Agape Care Team and Tuesday Watson, Caregiver.
The family is at their respective homes.
