WOODRUFF- Samantha Waddell Powell, 45, of 51 Walnut Drive went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

  Samantha was born May 21, 1973 in Greenville County, she was the daughter of Sissy Moore Waddell of the home and the late Alton Ray Waddell.  She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was a former dental hygienist with Pelham Oaks Dental.

  Surviving are one son, Blake (Harley) Peeler of Duncan; one daughter, Sydni Powell of the home; two sisters, Rhonda Waddell Tumblin of Woodruff and Tammy Waddell of Woodruff; two grandsons, Maverick Peeler of Duncan and Houston Peeler of Duncan.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Monroe and Mr. Robert Cato.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Janet Danner Joyful Ornaments, 216 Holland Road, Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.

  The family is at the residence.
