WOODRUFF-  Scott Alan White, 46, husband of Dorothy Whitaker White, passed away Thursday January 11, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

  Born September 13, 1977, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Edward White (Patricia Tucker) of Woodruff and Sandra Pease Johnston (Skip Johnston) of Fountain Inn.  He was a Mechanic with ENS Service and a member of Bethel Masonic Lodge #112 AFM.

  Surviving in addition to his wife and parents is his stepson, Justin Ridings of the home; daughter, Abigael White of the home; sisters, Stephanie White of New Lebanon, Ohio; half-sister, Sandra Tucker of Woodruff; two stepsisters, Kristen Johnston of Staten Island, New York and Heather Johnston of Los Angelas, California; one stepbrother, Wray (Taya) Johnston of Seattle, Washington;  paternal grandparents, Tilford and Dolores Powers of West Alexandria, Ohio; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as special friends, Tyler and Lisa Benton.

  He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Don and Joan Pease and a cousin, Joseph Faulconer.

  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary with Mr. Tyler Benton presiding.
