CLINTON- Sherwin LeRoy Utz Jr., 66, of 930 Stomp Springs Road passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.

  He was born July 14, 1958, in Hanover, Pennsylvania.  He was a former member of Freedom Fellowship Church and was a member of the 72 Hunt Club in Clinton.  Mr. Utz was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors

  Surviving is his wife, Debra Barber Utz of the home; one daughter, Shyanne Belue (Lane) of Inman; two sons, Gregory Cornett (Michelle) of Inman and Bryan Cornett of Easley; father, Sherwin LeRoy Utz Sr. (Mary) of Myrtle Beach; 8 grandchildren, Brianna Cornett, Madison Harris, Hunter Cornett, Autumn Harris, Skylar Cornett, Ashley Cornett, Lilly Webb and Lexi Cornett; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyrion Mulroy and Linnen Roberts.

  A visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the 72 Hunt Club, 1195 Stomp Springs Road, Clinton, S.C. 29325.
