Shirley W. Glenn

ENOREE- Shirley Whitmore Glenn, 75, of 12050 Hwy. 56, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community in Laurens.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Pet Boyd and Nina Leopard Whitmore and the widow of Jack Harvey Glenn who passed away December 19, 2020. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter, Karen Glenn Edwards (Bobby) of Enoree; one son, Kevin Boyd Glenn (Heidi) of Simpsonville; two sisters, Rose Mary Knight of Greenville and Particia Greene of Enoree; 4 grandchildren, Karrie Porter (Noah), Andrew Edwards (Brittany), Ansley Glenn and Kassidy Glenn; 2 great-grandchildren, Libby Edwards and Ryleigh Edwards.

A time of celebration of Shirley’s life will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3200 Hwy. 92, Enoree.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 3200 Hwy. 92, Enoree, S.C. 29335.
