ENOREE- James Stanley Owen, 68, of 1259 Parker Road died Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Greer Health and Rehab.

A native of Brevard, North Carolina, he was the son of Lavelda Louise Trusty Eubanks of Piedmont and the late A.L. Owen Sr. He was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Clinton as a fireman and later as Building and Zoning Inspector.

Surviving are his wife, Bennie Parrish Morgan Owen of the home; one son, Telly Owen of Anderson; one daughter, Tara LeAnn Owen Glenn of Clinton; two step sons, Kenny Morgan of Simpsonville and Rev. Deryk Morgan of Georgetown; two sisters, Anita Putnam of Townville and Carolyn Bently of Fleming Island, Florida; three brothers, A.L. Owen Jr. of Piedmont, Wade Larry Owen of Laurens and Leslie Owen of Piedmont; 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Grover Lee Owen.

A private family service will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at Woods Cemetery in Balsam, Grove, N.C.
