Stephen Hal “Steve” Carlton Sr.,76, of 425 South Church Street, Spartanburg passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
He was born February 21, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Clarence and Miriam Irene Carlton McAbee. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving is one daughter, Stacy Norris (Warren) of Kingsport, Tennessee; one son, Chad Carlton (Sherry) of Spartanburg; one sister, Patsy Tate of Woodruff; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Kornahrens (Brittany), Christian Price (Anthony) and Amber Carlton; 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Carlton Jr.
