Steve Allen Morgan, 61, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Prisma Health, Greer Memorial Hospital. 

Born September 6, 1962, in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Johnny Junior Morgan and Peggy Hughes Morgan. He was retired from Aiken Chemical Company an Army National Guard veteran and a member of Carolina Baptist Church in Spartanburg. 

Surviving are his son, Holden Morgan and wife Danielle of Enoree; sisters, Judy Carter and husband Darrell of Boiling Springs, Linda Sims of Cross Anchor; grandpa’s little loved ones, Selah Belle Morgan and Allie Haven Morgan and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Debra Leopard, a brother, Wayne Morgan and a brother-in-law, Tommy Sims. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. 

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in the chapel of Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary with Rev. Marc Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. 

Family members are at the home of Holden Morgan, 780 Two Mile Creek Road, Enoree.
