WOODRUFF- Michael Steven “Steve” Roberts, 76, formerly of 6499 Highway 101 passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at Brookstone Manor.

He was born October 23, 1947, in Spartanburg County to the late James Ralph and Sarah Patton Roberts. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff and was retired co-owner of Woodruff Motor Sales where he loved driving the vehicles, especially the corvettes.

Surviving is his family, Joye Meadows; Dawn Godfrey; Ty Meadows; Jimmi Ann Roberts; Luke Meadows. He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Roberts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Chaplain Eddie Bowen and Mr. Johnny Pearson. Interment will be held at a later date at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
