Ted Stephon West,61, of 484 Hazel Drive, Clinton passed away November 9, 2025, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.

  He was born November 25, 1963, in Spartanburg County to the late George and Annie Mae Waddell West.  He was a former textile worker and carpenter.

  Surviving is his daughter, Katherine Sharp (Chris); one sister, Patricia Simmons (Buddy) of Laurens; one brother, Marvin West (Karen) of Woodruff; nieces, Candy Roof (Ricky), Pamela Truitt (Tom), Jennifer Truitt (James) and Cindy Bevill (Doug); nephew, Robert Simmons (Jamie); 4 grandnieces and 12 grandnephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Georgia Mae Truitt;

a niece, Brandy Murph and a grandnephew.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church by Rev. Gunne Davis.  Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Woodruff.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  The family is at the home of Marvin and Karen West, 1330 East Georgia Road, Woodruff.
