Tiny A. Messer
WOODRUFF- Tiny Adair Messer,90, of 412 Bimini Road passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at her home.
She was born in Cherokee County to the late John Adair and Ellen Epps Adair and was the widow of Paul Messer. She was a retired seamstress and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Tucker of Woodruff and Donna Smith of Woodruff; one son, Michael Lanford of the home. She was predeceased by two daughters, Diane Steadman and Sandy Woody and two sons, Kenneth (Snake) Lanford and Ricky Lanford Sr.; 6 grandchildren, Nancy Johnson (Kenneth), Ricky Lanford Jr. (Emily), Dana Stacey (Chris), Dena Smith, Bo Smith (Lisa) and Randall Woody (Ricki). She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Dawn Hughes and Nick Woody; 11 great-grandchildren, Kimber Allison (Silas), Bryson Stewart, Haylee Stacey, Brody Stewart, Peyton Lanford, Brock Stewart, Evie Lanford, Conner Smith, River Woody, Cole Smith and Brayden Woody (due in January); 4 great-great-grandchildren, Malachi Wallace, Brayden Wallace, Cayleigh Humphries and Alleigh Humphries. She was the last surviving member of her siblings. She was predeceased by her sisters, Alma Hensley, Ruth Lawter, Mary Lee Patterson, Nellie Adair, Buna “Bunt” Crocker, Annie Fay Adair and Velma “Feisty” West and two brothers, Joe Adair and Frank “Cotton” Adair.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Steve Christopher.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
A cremation will follow the service.
