Ellen Vaughn
ENOREE- Virginia Ellen Griffin Vaughn, 73, of 132 Furman Street passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at her home.
She was born December 30, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Carnell and Sara Smith Griffin. She attended Enoree Church of God and was a retired seamstress.
Surviving is her long-time companion, Kenneth Scott of the home; three daughters, Lisa Vaughn Caldwell of Spartanburg, Audra Kay Hilton of Laurens and Branda Charlene Caldwell of Spartanburg; three sons, Randall Scott Harrington of Gray Court, James Dwayne Vaughn of Greenville and Danny Lee Mims Vaughn of Laurens; one sister, Teresa Bishop of Enoree; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Justice and three brothers, Albert Griffin, Ricky Griffin and Larry Griffin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Michael Shirley.
Visitation will immediately follow the service.
