Wade (W.D.) Seay

ENOREE- Wade Dixon Seay, 89, formerly of 85 Clippard Street, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 2, 2025, at Regional Hospice Home.

  He was born November 17, 1935, in Union County to the late Alford and Elsie Parris Seay and was the widower of Martha Crowe Seay who passed away August 26, 2015.  He was a retired textile employee with Inman Mills and served 11 years in the U.S. Army National Guard.

  Surviving are his children, Dan Mims, Roger (Debbie) Mims, Dickie Seay (Sheila) and Keith Seay (Stephanie); sister, Ann Childress; 8 grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Oscar Mims and a daughter, Suzie Foster.

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Enoree First Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Monty Guffey and Rev. Joshua Seay.   Interment will follow at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Enoree First Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 129, Enoree, S.C. 29335.

  The family is at their respective homes.
