WOODRUFF- Esley Wayne Garrett, 69, of 1731 Green Pond Road went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

He was born May 20, 1954, in Woodruff to the late Esley William Garrett and Grace Waddell Norton. He was a member of Green Pond Baptist Church and was a retired general contractor.

Surviving is his wife, Leah Hayes Garrett of the home; two daughters, August Miller (Brian) of Simpsonville and Cindy Galloway (Bryan) of Greenville; one son, Brandon Garrett (Amy) of Woodruff; 4 grandchildren, Caitlyn Galloway, Allison Galloway, Cole Harrison, and Russell Kay.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Green Pond Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Huckaby. Interment will follow in the Darby Cemetery at Green Pond Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service in the church sanctuary.

Serving as pallbearers, Tim West, Shannon Littlefield, Cole Harrison, Brian Miller, Bryan Galloway, Eric Green, and Zachary Moore.
