William E. Hellams

William Earl Hellams, 74, of 909 Bellview Road went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Regional Hospice Home.

  He was born October 20, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late David William and Mary Elizabeth Holden Hellams.  He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor with Steel Heddle.

  Surviving is his wife, Susan Letourneau Hellams of the home; one son, Brian (Tabatha) Hellams of Woodruff; two sisters, Dianne (James) Mahaffey of Woodruff and Deborah Waites of Woodruff; one brother, Gary Hellams of Woodruff; 2 grandchildren, Josh Hellams and Kyle Hellams and 3 great-grandchildren, Corey, Campbell Ryleigh and Chloe Hellams.  He was predeceased by a son, Corey Hellams.

  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. at Bellview Baptist Church by Rev. Carey Caldwell.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bellview Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Bellview Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388

  The family is at the residence.
