William Aiken “Bill” Shuler III

GREENVILLE- William Aiken “Bill” Shuler III, 66, of 116 Royal Oak Road went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

  A native of Camden, S.C., he was the son of William Aiken Shuler Jr. and Priscilla Brannon Shuler of Newberry.  He was the current pastor at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church in Saluda, S.C. and was a retired Air Force Veteran having serve 171/2 years.

  Surviving are his lovely wife, Suzanne Thackston Shuler of the home; three sons, William Aiken Shuler IV of the home; Christopher James (Jessica Autumn Hall) Shuler of Bossier City, Louisiana and Steven Thomas (Ashleigh Payne) Shuler of Spartanburg; two sisters, Priscilla Shuler Shealy of Simpsonville and Valerie Shuler Hesse of Simpsonville; one brother, Robert Victor Shuler of Columbia; 2 grandchildren, Catherine Autumn & James Max.

  Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Joe Rollins.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens with military honors.

  Visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6:00--8:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff.

  The family is at their respective homes.
