I will cherish the time spent with Gussie. It didn't matter what we did, we always ended up in the living room at Steven's at the piano and organ. I took music lessons from Gussie to refresh my theory skills when I was in my 30's, and even though I was older than her average student, I still got a gold star sticker in my music book. Gussie earned thousands of gold stars for the life that she lived and the people that she touched!

Gussie holds a very special place in my heart. She was a kind and loving woman, and I really admired that. We has several conversations over the years when she lived here in Fairfield. She had so much pride in her family, and heritage. . I remember her on the piano all the time, it was something she truly loved and it showed. It was a blessing to have her cross my path in this life of mine. God is good ALL the time, and she really just lived that everyday.
