Lyryc S. Mathis

SPARTANBURG: Lyryc Skylyn Mathis, age 2, of 121 Rosetta Court was carried to her heavenly home in the arms of Jesus, Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born July 23, 2013 in Spartanburg she was a daughter of Tyler Brock Mathis and Jennifer Danielle Thomas.

Surviving in addition to her parents, those left to cherish her precious memories are sisters, Shealon Thomas and Jadyn Horton both of the home; maternal grandfather, Danny Thomas; maternal grandmother, Tammy Clayton of Woodruff; paternal grandmother, Jean Henson of Shelby, NC; maternal great-grandmother, Brenda Christian Reynolds of Spartanburg and paternal great-grandmother, Brenda Eich of Cowpens.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jerry Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.

The family is at the home of Tammy Clayton, 711 Miller Road, Woodruff, SC.
