Patricia W. King

WOODRUFF: Patricia Worthy King, 78, widow of James Robert King Sr. of 43 Eli Cox Rd. died Friday, December 9, 2016 at her home.

Born August 21, 1938 in Newberry County she was a daughter of the late Wallace Worthy and Victoria Gregory Worthy. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are sons, Rev. Robert King and wife Kim of Woodruff, Allen King of Woodruff; daughters, Debra Childers, Sandra King, Marie Simmons and husband Billy all of Woodruff and a brother, Preston Worthy of Whitmire; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church with Revs. Carrol Caldwell, Heyward Calvert and Robert King officating. Burial will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
